‘Echoes around us’ includes many previously unrecorded works, from a re-discovered Victorian Requiem by Pearsall - a founder member of our choir - to 21st-century music by composers closely associated with us. The journey through our unusually rich choral heritage finishes, of course, with ‘The Waits’, which has been sung at the end of every rehearsal since the first meeting in March 1837.
